What are the paws
The Paws are a large group of species created by @/DjSilverCat1 on Pixilart, with the help of their good friend, @/GreenLion. The “Paw” prefix was obviously inspired by Tui. T Sutherland’s Wings of Fire, but the rest of the concept I made BEFORE I read WoF.
Most of the info here is all written by me, @/DjSilverCat1.
------------------------------------------
In their world, called “Irtha”, there’s a collection of large islands, somewhere on the planet. These group of islands are called “Dyamond’s Islands,” named after one of the most “biggest” or most worshipped goddess (Dyamond, she will be explain in “Paw Myths”). Each island has an “element” if you will, which is based off of its climate/environment.
Island 1, Northernmost, Element: Ice = ShiverLands Glacier
Island 2, NE,Element Dark = Whispering Floats
Island 3, East, Element: Lightning/Sand: Shard Cliffs
Island 4, SE, Element: Earth: Mangrove Canyon
Island 5, South, Element: Fire = BlowTorch Mines
Island 6, SW, Element: Light = Solar Forests
Island 7, West, Element: Wind = Mount Aeris
Island 8 NW, Element: Water = Dampen Geysers
Island 9, Center, Element: Neutral: Dyamond’s Cities
------------------------------------------
Oh each island, there is a “Royal Tribe”. This tribe will have a king and a queen, and possibly heirs. The rest however, do not. They would have dukes and duchess, etc. The Royal Tribe doesn't rule over the others, but is rather the largest support/ally. They normally are also responsible for keeping relative peace on their island. Each individual has two first names, the “Syllabic name” and the “Physical name”. They’re used to differentiate two Paws with the same name. I will use one of my LightningPaw characters, Anatole Kindle, as an example. The Syllabic name is a name that has no meaning to it. “Anatole” is his Syllabic name. The Physical name is a name that is normally referenced to the individual’s tribe, for example, the generic Wings of Fire names. “Kindle” is his Physical name. Please ignore any spelling errors I may have missed.
